Terra Firma is pleased to announce that the sale of Tank & Rast has been voted ‘Germany, Austria and Switzerland Large Cap Deal of the Year’ at the Private Equity Awards 2016.
The shortlist for the award was assembled following research carried out by European private equity publication Real Deals and Cass Business School, with support from Preqin data. Cass Business School undertook further analysis and conducted in-depth interviews with each shortlisted candidate. Their findings were presented to a panel of leading GPs who voted for Tank & Rast as the stand out deal from a strong selection of candidates.
The judges said that Tank & Rast was chosen as it “was an outstanding deal where Terra Firma did absolutely everything right”.
This accolade follows two other awards for the deal this year, as Terra Firma was named ‘Firm of the Year in Germany’ by Private Equity International and Tank & Rast was voted ‘Global Infrastructure Deal of the Year’ by Infrastructure Investor.
