Terra Firma Capital Partners (‘Terra Firma’) has today announced the appointment of Vivek Ahuja, former Deputy Group CFO of Standard Chartered, to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer.
Vivek will become a Partner at Terra Firma, working alongside Managing Partners Guy Hands, Justin King, and Andrew Géczy.

Vivek will be responsible for the overall financial management of the firm at a Group level and for its Portfolio businesses as well as playing a role in the overall management of Terra Firma.
Vivek has a wealth of experience having spent three decades working in global finance with over 20 years in senior CFO leadership roles. He joins Terra Firma after 17 years with Standard Chartered Bank where he has been the Deputy Group CFO and prior to that the Group CFO – Wholesale Banking and Regional CFO – Middle East and South Asia. Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, he has worked with HSBC and ANZ in a variety of roles spanning finance, strategy, and corporate and institutional banking.

Additionally, Terra Firma has also appointed Mark Elliott as a Managing Director and Head of Support Capital. Mark will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Support Capital division to reflect the increasing number of opportunities in the market.
He joins Terra Firma from Lloyds Banking Group, where he held several senior roles over the past ten years. Most recently, he was Managing Director of Corporate Solutions, Commercial Banking. Also at Lloyds, he has been a Managing Director in units including: Real Estate Solutions & Group Risk Advisory, Capital Markets as well as Real Estate & Utilities Solutions, Financial Markets.
At the same time, David Browne is joining as a Director in the Private Equity team. Starting his career in banking at Credit Suisse, he has spent nearly 15 years in private equity, most recently as a Director of Paine Schwartz Partners, a specialist private equity fund based in New York.
