Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd (“Terra Firma”) announces that Vivek Ahuja, Chief Executive Officer, will be leaving the firm after the summer to explore new opportunities. As CEO, Vivek has provided the firm with a lot of strength and support over his six years at the company and across the portfolio businesses, most notably navigating the company through the difficult Covid period.
Taking on the day-to-day operations of Terra Firma will be Paul Hatter, who has joined the firm in the new role of Chief Operating Officer (“COO”). Paul brings extensive leadership expertise from over 25 years in COO, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff roles at financial services companies. This includes 15 years at UBS Investment Bank, four years at JP Morgan and most recently operational management roles at smaller specialist investment firms. Paul is based in Terra Firma’s London office.
Leadership of Terra Firma’s portfolio businesses remains with Guy and Richard Hands. Richard has been with Terra Firma since 2013 and will continue to lead on the firm’s residential investments as well as new deals. To formally reflect his management responsibilities, Richard has been promoted to Managing Director.
