Richborough uses its land, planning and commercial expertise to identify sites, secure planning permission, and deliver buildable schemes in the most efficient manner. It has a team of over 40 professionals and support staff who specialise in planning, surveying, architecture, urban design, engineering, housebuilding and development.
Richborough’s projects are located around the UK and range from residential schemes of around 100 dwellings to large, mixed use urban extensions. The business has two divisions, one which focusses on promoting land for residential developments, and another, Richborough Commercial, which seeks to provide consented land for employment use.
In 2022, Richborough received investment from Terra Firma’s Principal Capital Group, supported by Partners Group and the Hands Family Office.
Richborough has 175 residential development sites under contract with the potential to deliver over 40,000 market and affordable new homes, an increase of more than 50% since Terra Firma’s investment in 2022.
