Michael Hewett
Head of Investor Relations and Investor Relations Director for Europe, Middle East and Australia
Prior to joining Terra Firma in 2004, Michael was Principal and Director at Atlantic Pacific Capital. He was previously Vice President, Private Equity Group at Morgan Stanley. Michael has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. Michael is married with a son and a daughter, and is a passionate skier and hopeless golfer.
Bill Miles
Investor Relations Managing Director, North America
Bill joined Terra Firma in 2002 as Terra Firma was beginning the fundraising for its second fund. Prior to joining Terra Firma, Bill was Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Sales at First Union Capital Markets (now Wachovia Bank). Previously, he was Vice President, Fixed Income at Goldman Sachs. Bill has a BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University. He was subsequently commissioned and served 4 years in the US Navy. Bill is married with 2 daughters both of whom are currently attending US universities. The Miles’ family are avid boaters and spend much of their leisure time on the waters around Charleston, SC.
Manabu Kurata
Investor Relations Director, Asia
Prior to joining the group in 1999, Manabu was Executive Director at Nomura Project Finance International in Hong Kong. He began his career at Nomura Securities in Japan. Manabu has a BA in Law from Tokyo University. Manabu is married with 2 daughters and 2 dogs. His interests include golf, travel and enjoying ethnic food.
